The first sourdough bread I ever made was a actually a whole grain rye bread. Since I originally made my sourdough starter from scratch using rye flour, making a sourdough bread out of rye flour just seemed to make sense. And, it turns out that making a beautiful, whole grain sourdough rye bread at home is super easy to do!
