Hello! I’m Grant – a home cook, recipe developer, and sourdough baker living in Tucson, Arizona. Back in September of 2019, I made my very first sourdough starter in my apartment in Chicago, and I’ve been baking all kinds of sourdough bread and pizza ever since. I’ve made many sourdough starters since then, but I still keep my original starter in a jar and I use it in almost all of my recipes.
At Grant Bakes, I share straightforward, no-nonsense recipes and videos that help you make better sourdough bread at home. I try to simplify the sourdough baking process to make it less intimidating for the average person.
